Bldg 91 | Alameda, CA
Bldg 91, along with Bldg 9, is part of the first private acquisition and redevelopment at former Naval Air Station Alameda. The 41,000-square foot warehousing building was rehabilitated to historic preservation standards and is now home to Almanac Beer Co.’s brewery and taproom, as well as Admiral Maltings’ production facility and tasting room. The $20 million rehabilitation included a voluntary seismic upgrade, all new utility infrastructure, and the construction of a 10,000-square foot addition. This project received the 2018 Preservation Award from the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society.
