Laurence Pelosi, Senior Advisor - Capital Markets
Laurence has had a diverse career in real estate law, principal investing and investment banking.  He began his career as a land use attorney in San Francisco before joining the homebuilder Lennar as Director of Acquisitions, focusing primarily on military base reuse and infill development in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Laurence then joined Morgan Stanley Real Estate, where he focused on residential and mixed-use investments and public/private partnerships.  In 2009, Laurence launched a series of partnerships which acquired over $500MM of residential assets in partnership with Carlyle Group, Och Ziff, Tricon Capital and Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group. 

Laurence also serves as a Principal in Forty Six North Realty Advisors, which provides investment banking and advisory services to real estate development companies and investors; a Principal in Restore Utah, a partnership with Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group; and an Advisor to Crow Family Holdings in Dallas, TX, a $20Bn AUM investment management company.   Laurence also serves on the board of IMOD Structures, a modular construction company backed by Goldman Sachs and a member of the Biden 2020 National Finance Committee.  Laurence previously served on the Newsom for Governor Finance Committee, as Treasurer of Gavin Newsom’s mayoral campaign in San Francisco and on the board of the Institute for Governmental Studies at UC Berkeley and Family House at UCSF.  He received a JD from Georgetown Law School and a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley.
